Recently Sushant Singh Rajput’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani has been arrested from Hyderabad (Hyderabad) in a drug case related to the actor’s death on 14 June last year. He has been sent to five days custody of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

The arrest comes nearly two-and-a-half months after filing a 12,000-page chargesheet against 33 people, including actress Riya Chakraborty, her brother Shovik and others in the Bollywood-drugs mafia investigation involving Sushant’s death on June 14, 2020.

The chargesheet was filed before the Mumbai Special NDPS Court on 5 March, following two cases filed by the Drug Law Enforcement Agency following an intimation from the Enforcement Directorate. The NCB is investigating the financial angle in the case of Sushant’s death.
