Veteran Music Composer Vanraj Bhatia Passes Away: Music composer Vanraj Bhatia, the famous music composer of the Hindi film world and honored with the Padma Shri Award, has passed away. He gave music for many big films including Shyam Benegal’s film ‘Ankur’, Naseeruddin Shah’s film Jaane Bhi Do Yaro. He breathed his last today at the age of 93 at his home in Mumbai.

According to the Times of India report, Vanraj Bhatia lived alone and was looked after by his maid. He was suffering from age related problems and was living in his apartment in Napon Sea Road. Due to Corona, he was unable to reach the doctor on time and he had also reduced his food intake to a great extent. Sharing his sad news, film director Hansal Mehta wrote on Twitter, “RIP Maestro.”

Trend Vanraj Bhatia studied in Western Classical Music at the Royal Academy of Music, London School and made a major contribution to theater including cinema, TV, advertising.
