Apprehensions have also increased among people regarding this, but AIIMS Director Randeep Guleria said that no such data has been found so far, on the basis of which it can be said that more deaths have occurred due to the Delta Plus variant. Its infection is spreading rapidly. Apart from this, the matter of beating the corona vaccine is also not confirmed by any data. Randeep Guleria said that if the protocol set to deal with Corona is followed, then we will be safe from any newly emerging variant.

Apart from this, on the matter of applying different vaccines in two doses of corona vaccine, he also said that more study needs to be done in this regard. He said that some studies have said that it may be more effective, but more data needs to be collected on this. He said that this experiment cannot be implemented based on the current study. His statement comes after a recent study by Oxford University, which said that mixing Astragena and Pfizer vaccines creates more immunity.
The first case of the Delta Plus variant was found in India on June 11. It has been modified from the Delta variant itself. So far, its cases have been found in 12 countries including India. Apart from this, cases of Delta Plus variant have been found in 12 states and union territories including Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. According to the Health Ministry, 51 cases of Delta Plus variant have been found across the country so far. So far, the highest number of cases have been found in Maharashtra, which has been badly hit by Corona. It is followed by Madhya Pradesh and Kerala.
