1) Reduce the amount of salt in the food: –
According to research by the Cancer Council, high salt intake increases the risk of stomach and esophageal cancer by up to 50%. Processed foods like pickles, sauces, furs are high in salt. Stay away from it The amount of salt in the daily diet should not exceed 5 grams.
2) Sit in the morning sun: –
According to a study by the Institute for Cancer Research, vitamin-D helps protect against cancer. Therefore, one should sit in the sun before 10 in the morning. 4) Eat less red meat: –
Red meat such as mutton and beef as well as processed meat increases the risk of colon cancer. Excessive intake of processed meat increases the risk of stomach cancer. Therefore, it should be consumed less.
5) Keep weight under control: –
Being overweight is not only responsible for diabetes and heart disease but also cancer. According to the Indian Cancer Society, obesity increases the risk of breast, pancreatic, bladder, esophageal cancer. Hence include in the 30 minute routine. Apart from this, exercise 30 minutes 5 days a week.
6) Stay away from smoking and alcohol: –
Smoking increases the risk of cancer of the lungs, mouth, bladder, cervix, esophagus and throat. If you consume alcohol along with smoking, the risk of cancer doubles. So stay away from smoking, alcohol and tobacco.
7) Get 8 hours sleep: –
There is a direct relationship between sleep and cancer. An adult needs at least 7 hours of sleep and a maximum of 8 hours of sleep after a busy day. Getting 8 hours of sleep improves immunity. It helps in fighting various infections and free radicals, which are a major cause of cancer.
8) Get the cancer tested periodically: –
Screening for cancer symptoms is necessary. Early detection of cancer can prevent serious side effects. Cases of breast, cervical, prostate, oral and stomach cancers are more common. All these cancers are also found in small cities. It is easy to check and it is not expensive.
