Several programs are being run by the Central and State Government for the nutrition of women and children. A special program is being run by Prime Minister Narendra Modi (Narendra Modi) on the solution of the problem of malnutrition among children and women in the country. Under this, ‘National Nutrition Month’ is being conducted. It is a national program aimed at making the nation prosperous.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while addressing a program organized in connection with ‘National Nutrition Month’ at Lok Bhawan here today established a dialogue with the beneficiaries and their parents of the nutrition programs of Bahraich, Balrampur, Lakhimpur Kheri and Barabanki districts.
Yogi Adityanath got information about the age of his children, weight at birth, present weight, health, nutrition being provided, vaccination etc. during the interaction with parents. He instructed the district administration that in order to improve the level of nutrition, the malnourished families, who have a place to keep cows and are willing to keep cows, should be provided cows from destitute cows. 900 rupees per cow should also be provided for the maintenance of the cow. This system should be done under the already operated ‘Chief Minister’s frustrated / destitute cow dynasty participation scheme’. Along with this, he was also encouraged and encouraged to develop a kitchen garden to provide good nutrition to such families.
The Chief Minister said that malnourished and undernourished children should be identified and provided with all nutritional facilities on time. Malnourished mothers with children should also be identified and given benefits of the schemes. The unemployed people of malnourished families should be provided employment through schemes run by the state government. Describing proper monitoring as essential for effective implementation of nutrition programs, the Chief Minister said that it should be taken forward through digital mode during the time of Kovid-19. The program should be reviewed weekly at district level. Weekly review should be done at the level of Mandalayukta. The report of this review should also be sent to the Department and the Chief Minister’s Office. Monthly review should also be done at departmental level and chief secretary level.
The Chief Minister, while referring to the control achieved by interdepartmental coordination and teamwork in the last 3 years by the present government on the outbreak of encephalitis in Gorakhpur and surrounding districts of Purvanchal for 40 years, said that the malnutrition among women and children There is also a need to work with interdepartmental coordination and teamwork to solve the problem.
The Chief Minister also stressed the need to better reach the affected people to the schemes and programs of the Central and State Government to solve the problem of malnutrition. It was also talked about converting it into a mass movement for the success of National Nutrition Month. In this program, all the concerned departments like Health, Education, Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Agriculture, Horticulture etc. were also talked about. Emphasized the need to create awareness about providing benefits of these programs to boys and girls without discrimination.
