Mumbai. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) team on Friday raided the residence of Riya Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda, manager of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The raid has been killed after an alleged drug trader Zaid Vilatra was sent to NCB custody for seven days by a Mumbai court. It happened at 6.30 in the morning. After which NCB has taken Shouvik Chakraborty (Showik Chakraborty) with him for questioning.
Let us know that a team of NCB arrived on Friday to search the house of Riya Chakraborty, after which Shouvik has taken with him. In fact, the NCB investigation found evidence of Riya Chakraborty’s brother Shouvik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda’s connection with the drugs dealer. Apart from this, another team of the agency had arrived to search the house of Samuel Miranda, manager of Sushant, after which he too has been taken from the house for questioning.

According to the information received, the agency has captured Shouvik’s laptop from Riya Chakraborty’s house. At the same time, some hard drives and electronic gadgets have been captured from Riya and Miranda’s house. NCB has found links between Riya Chakraborty’s brother, Shouvik Chakraborty and arrested drug dealer Zaid Vilatra.
The NCB official said the raids were killed as part of a routine process. And during this process of law is being followed. The case was filed last Wednesday after the NCB wrote to the Enforcement Directorate urging them to take action.
After registering the case, at midnight of 27-28 August, NCB conducted a search in Mumbai and arrested Abbas Lakhani and Karan Arora and ‘Bud’ (curated marijuana) was recovered from them. The official said Lakhani’s relationship with Vilatra came to light in detail about the network and the investigation.
The officer further said that Vilatra disclosed the amount in the form of drug peddling. The official said Vilatra also revealed that he was into drug peddling, especially Bud, through which he used to earn a considerable amount.
The official said, “On the basis of interrogation of Vilatra, Abdul Basit Parihar was brought under scrutiny. It was learned that preliminary investigation based on details presented by the ED found the avoidance relationship with the former accused persons. ”
The NCB source said Parihar was related to Samuel Miranda, who was also a close associate of Riya Chakraborty. Miranda is accused of buying drugs on the instructions of Riya’s brother Shovik.
NCB files case against Rhea, her brother Shovik, talent manager Jaya Saha, Sushant’s co-manager Shruti Modi and Goa hotelier Gaurav Arya under Section 20 (b) 28, 29 of the ‘Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act’ did.
The case was filed by the NCB after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) wrote to the NCB on Tuesday after a conversation on WhatsApp between Riya and Shruti Modi, Miranda and Siddharth Pithani surfaced.
