India celebrates September 5 every year as Teacher’s Day Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishna became the first Vice President and second President of India.
He was also a great teacher, because of his passion in education, he contributed a lot in this field. Some of Dr. Radhakrishna’s friends and students asked him to organize his birthday, then he said that you all want to celebrate my birthday. This is very happy, but if you celebrate my special day by honoring the contribution, dedication, and hard work done by the teachers in the field of education, then I will be more happy.
Keeping this wish in mind, Teaching Day is celebrated every year on September 5, 1962 in India.
On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, teachers are honored and gift, music, dance etc. programs are organized and thanked.
