Soya chaap – 4
Onion (finely chopped) – 1
Garlic-Ginger Paste – 2 Tbsp
Tomatoes (finely chopped) – 1
Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon
Red chili powder – 1 teaspoon
Turmeric – 1 teaspoon
Garam Masala – 1 teaspoon
Salt – as per taste
Water – as required
Method
To make it, first of all, remove all the soya chaap from the stick and cut it into small pieces.
– Then heat the oil in a pan on medium gas and once the oil is heated, fry the pieces of soya chap in it till it becomes golden and keep them in a plate.
After this, heat a little more oil in the pan, add cumin, garlic-ginger paste, onion and fry it.
Then add the tomatoes as soon as the onion becomes golden and fry till it becomes soft.
After this, add turmeric, red chilli powder and garam masala and mix well while stirring.
– Then add half a glass of water and cook it covered for five minutes and then turn off the gas.
– Your masala soya chap is ready.
