Greatness of Ganga Saptami
According to astrology, by immersing in the river Ganga on the day of Ganga Saptami, all sins of man are washed away, and salvation is attained. If seen, bathing the Ganges is a different significance. On this day special worship is done in Ganga temples. According to the Shiva Purana, taking a bath in the Ganges gives freedom from all sins. After Ganga-bathing, charity and charity should be done. According to the scriptures, salvation is attained only by bathing in the life-giving Ganges, philosophy of Narmada ji and mere remembrance of the Mokshadayini Shipra. In Hinduism, mother Ganga is also considered to be Papanashini and Mokshadayani. After this, donate clothes and food to a poor person.
