Who does not like to eat Gulab Jamun in sweet but you have never eaten Gulab Jamun vegetable, would not have eaten it, today we will tell you about Gulab Jamun vegetable. This is a Rajasthani Dis which people like a lot.
¾ cup mawa (grated)
¼ cup paneer (grated)
¼ cup arrowroot / corn floor
20 cashew nuts
2 green chillies
½ cup curd
Oil – Gulab Jamun for frying and gravy
3 tbsp coriander (finely chopped)
1 Green Chili (4 halves in length)
½ tsp cumin
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
½ tsp red chili powder
1 tsp ginger paste
2 tsp Kasuri Methi
¼ tsp garam masala
1 tsp salt (as per taste)
recipe: Put mawa and paneer in a plate and crumble it. Mash them with the palm and make them smooth. After a little mash, add arrowroot to it. Prepare a smooth mixture by mixing and mashing everything. Take a little of the mixture and prepare smooth balls. The balls should not crack. With this mixture, 15 gulab jamuns are prepared.
For frying gulab jamuns, put oil in the pan and heat it. Try adding a Gulab Jamun to the oil. For frying gulab jamuns, medium hot oil and flame should also be medium and slow. Rotate the gulab jamuns and fry them till they turn nice golden brown. After frying, place the gulab jamun on the pan and hold it on the side of the pan so that the excess oil goes back into the pan and then place it on a plate by laying napkin paper. Fry all Gulab Jamuns in this way. It takes 5 minutes to fry a one-time Gulab Jamun.
To make gravy, heat a pan and add 2 to 3 tablespoons of oil to it. When the oil is hot, add cumin, turmeric powder to it. Reduce the gas so that the spices do not burn, then add ginger paste, coriander powder, kasoori methi and chopped green chilies in length and fry the masala lightly. Then, add cashew-tomato-green chilli paste, red chilli powder to the spices and fry it on medium flame till oil floats over the spices.
Chop the whole cashews roughly. Add cashews to the spices and fry it. After separating the oil from the spices, add the whipped curd slowly and cook on a high flame while stirring continuously, until it comes to a boil. Later, add 1 cup of water to it and let it simmer in the gravy. Then, add salt, garam masala and green coriander to it and mix.
Cover the gravy and let it cook on low heat for 3 minutes. Afterwards add gulab jamun to it and cover and let it cook on low flame for 1 minute. Vegetable is ready, take it out in a bowl. Garnish the vegetable with green coriander. Serve delicious Gulab Jamun vegetable hot. If you want to make gravy first, then you can keep it and when serving the vegetables, while gulab jamun, while heating it, cover it and cover it for 1 minute.
